Role Purpose

We’re looking for a confident and capable leader who can provide support to the Superloop leadership team, mentor a growing team, and help Superloop deliver on its strategy. The Superloop Brand & Comms function sits within the Marketing & UX team and supports the rapidly growing organisation with leadership comms and events, employee messaging, engagement, and bringing the brand to life.

The team consists of the Head of Brand & Communications and three direct reports – an Events Manager, a Brand & Comms Producer and a Brand & Comms Lead supporting the international team. You’ll work closely with Superloop executives and senior leaders on a range of projects, from brand campaigns and embedding the Superloop identity, to managing employee communications, and high priority events.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Superloop CMO, the Head of Brand & Communications has four core areas of accountability:

  • Employee communications strategy: developing, implementing, and measuring a communications strategy that supports the Superloop strategy, ensuring employees understand the goals and priorities of the organisation, celebrates the growth and success of the business, and that elevates brand and protects the reputation of the business.
  • Employee communications: informing, influencing and inspiring employees and fostering engagement with the company through targeted messaging across a range of channels working in close partnership with the People & Culture team. Working with Executives and senior leaders to craft messaging that communicates the company strategy, vision, and programs. Partnering with SMEs across the business to support key projects (e.g. transformation and acquisition engagement and senior leadership development). Mentoring and developing communications leads across the business, including international team members.
  • Brand: working with the CMO and Marketing & UX senior leaders to shape the brand tone and narrative, and influence how the brand shows up internally, in sponsorships, and at events.
  • Events: planning and delivering internal events including town halls and employee conferences and team days, supporting the wider business with strategic external events including industry summits and conferences, selected customer events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in communications, journalism, PR, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in communications.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organisation and deliver clear, effective messages that support Superloop’s strategic objectives.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and executives to provide communication counsel and act as a trusted resource.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, including Executives and Senior Leaders.
  • Experience using communications measurement systems, media monitoring and analytics tools, intranet platforms, content management systems, and other technologies that support communication strategies.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential materials and build trust with key stakeholders.
  • Highly detail-oriented, particularly in ensuring clarity and accuracy of information.
  • Proactive and demonstrates initiative. Functions effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience with events and logistics.
  • Must be results and outcome driven.
