Quality & Risk Lead

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

We are now looking for a Quality & Risk Lead for one of our customers based in Stavanger.

Duration: from 01.02.2026 - 31.08.2026, with option for extension

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate quality and risk management activities for drilling operations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality and risk management plans aligned with drill-plans, ensuring continuous monitoring and communication of plan updates.

• Drive contractor and drilling performance improvements through supervisory activities and systematic QA/QC processes. Monitor key performance indicators and process efficiency to identify optimization opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and contractual requirements throughout operations. Facilitate verification and audit activities to validate system effectiveness.

• Facilitate incident management, conduct investigations, and perform root cause analysis.

• Manage lessons learned programs and analyze drilling results to identify improvement opportunities.

• Oversee implementation of improvements within established governance frameworks. Deliver training programs to build quality and risk management competency.

• Conduct reviews to assess performance and effectiveness of quality and risk systems.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree, Bachelor or Master

• 10+ years of relevant experience

• Revelant Drilling Experience

• Be able to communicate in both English and Norwegian
