About the role  

  • Checking occupational health and safety documents for personnel, vehicles, and equipment entering the port area.

  • Verifying that required documents (training certificates, permits, etc.) are complete and valid, and notifying relevant units in case of missing or non-compliant paperwork.

  • Ensuring that employees receive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for their duties.

  • Creating and recording equipment assignment forms for PPE deliveries.

  • Ensuring that PPE in the warehouse is stored in an organized, safe, and accessible manner.

  • Performing regular stock counts of equipment in the PPE warehouse.

  • Monitoring minimum stock levels, reporting depleted materials to the supervisor, and placing purchase orders.

  • Classifying and archiving physical and electronic documents while ensuring their confidentiality and security.

  • Maintaining and archiving OHS-related forms, reports, and legal documents on a regular basis.

  • Managing the organization, archiving, and tracking of health files (Annex-2, periodic examinations, etc.).

  • Providing technical support to the OHS Specialist.

  • Conducting field inspections and making recommendations to prevent occupational accidents or diseases.

  • Observing potential hazards and providing data for the preparation of risk assessment reports in coordination with the OHS specialist.

  • Reporting OHS accidents, hazards, and near-misses through the utilized software (EcoOnline).

  • Supporting Integrated Management System audits.

About you

  • Preferably graduated from university departments of Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Capable of ensuring coordination between field and office teams with developed communication skills.

  • High planning and follow-up abilities, working disciplined in reporting and archiving processes.

  • Able to use MS Office programs (especially Excel) effectively.
