About the Role:
An experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer is required to act as a design authority within a medium-complexity engineering environment. The role involves leading technical design activities across multiple projects while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as technical lead and approve engineering design deliverables
Review project documentation for compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards
Identify and resolve complex and non-standard design challenges
Apply advanced engineering methods and define technical priorities
Ensure all engineering activities align with contractual and regulatory requirements
Manage and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) in accordance with project specifications
Handle change and variation requests in coordination with project management
Support technical completion and contract closure activities
Work closely with project managers throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare RFQs and perform technical evaluation of supplier proposals
Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and testing teams
Coordinate with commissioning and service teams to ensure proper installation and delivery
Engage with customers to deliver solutions and gather feedback for improvements
Support technical proposals and presentations
Requirements:
Senior-level experience in electrical design engineering within industrial or engineering projects
Proven experience leading technical design activities
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, safety, and cybersecurity requirements
Experience with BOM management and technical documentation
Experience in supplier evaluation and cross-functional collaboration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
