About the role:
The Handyman ensures the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of company facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across multiple locations. This role supports operational efficiency by responding promptly to maintenance requests, addressing technical issues, and ensuring all equipment and spaces remain in optimal working condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, filling crevices, cleaning facilities, and handling routine repairs.
Repair and maintain company machinery, equipment, and appliances as needed.
Identify, document, and report requirements for major maintenance or repair works.
Conduct regular inspections of shared and community spaces to detect litter, mechanical issues, or equipment breakdowns.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Repair and maintain basic plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
Assess the performance and condition of appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens, and coffee machines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic English - able to follow simple instruction.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role.
Solid hands-on experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
Ability to operate hardware tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
Well-organized with clear and professional communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
