As an Associate Researcher in Climate / Earth Sciences:

How you'll make an impact:

• Leading the quantitative modeling components of various applied research projects focused on forest conservation and sustainable forest use.
• Building scenarios using biophysical variables to estimate the impact of project interventions, especially those involving community-based bio-businesses.
• Producing high-level scientific publications.
• Establishing new strategic partnerships for UTEC and ASRI.
• Identifying and securing funding to strengthen your research line.

What makes you a great fit:

• PhD in Climate Science, Earth Sciences, Ecology, or related fields
• Proven research experience
• Publications in academic journals
• Experience as PI or Co-PI in funded research projects
• Preferred: experience conducting research in the Amazon; portfolio of relevant projects is a plus
