About the program
Our Oral Health Services team provides award-winning, client-centred dental care across preventive, restorative and health-promoting practices. We focus on holistic, accessible oral health that helps clients achieve lasting improvements in their wellbeing.
About the role
This position plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of NRCH’s oral health clinics. You’ll support the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality dental services by coordinating staff, managing clinic resources and maintaining compliance with infection control, accreditation and OH&S standards. You’ll foster a positive team culture, mentor dental assistants and reception staff, and ensure our clinics run smoothly and effectively.
Your role will also include:
• Managing rosters, leave coverage and daily staffing needs
• Overseeing clinic equipment, stock control and maintenance within budget
• Leading infection control compliance and audits
• Supporting administrative and reception functions to ensure seamless client care
• Promoting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
About you
You’re a proactive, organised and approachable leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. You bring experience in dental team management and are passionate about empowering your team to provide excellent care.
You will have:
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
• Relevant management qualification or demonstrated experience leading a team
• Experience in public oral health or community dental practice is desirable
• Sound knowledge of infection control and OH&S standards
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services and experience working with culturally diverse communities will be highly regarded.
