Finnplay is now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our passionate team in Tallinn, Estonia. You will be working in an international team to develop our online gaming platforms and solutions. We work in a hybrid model and hope you can join us at the office twice a week. The salary for this role will be 4800-5300€/month gross.

YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:

  • Analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into high-quality frontend solutions

  • Actively participating in system and frontend architecture design, with a focus on scalability and maintainability

  • Designing, building, and maintaining reusable components, libraries, and design-system-level abstractions

  • Ensuring high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility of frontend applications

  • Driving best practices in frontend development, including code quality, testing, and documentation

  • Collaborating closely with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and QA

  • Coaching, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers

  • Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards within the team



IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF MUST-HAVES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • 5+ years of hands-on, professional experience in Frontend development

  • Practical experience developing and maintaining web-based applications including complex production systems

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript and a deep understanding of the DOM and browser internals

  • Solid understanding of modern ECMAScript standards and evolving frontend best practices

  • In-depth knowledge of React framework and its core principles, component patterns, and performance optimization

  • Experience with common React state-management and data-flow solutions

  • Strong experience with Node.js, common frontend tooling (package managers, bundlers, linters) and frontend build pipelines

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong preference for hands-on collaboration using Scrum

  • A proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Open-mindedness and adaptability in a fast-changing product and technical environment
