Job Overview
- Operational Leadership: Assist the Site Team Lead in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring alignment with project schedules, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the work of site supervisors, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols; lead safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Progress Monitoring: Track work progress against plans and schedules; identify bottlenecks and propose timely corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, consultants, suppliers, and clients to maintain alignment and resolve site-related issues.
- Material & Resource Planning: Ensure the timely availability of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet site demands.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and company standards.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the site’s secondary decision-maker, managing conflicts, delays, and technical challenges.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports on progress, risks, and resource usage for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentorship & Training: Support the development of junior staff and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Experience in construction and QA/QC of industrial building infrastructure.
