We are looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Planning Engineer to manage the planning and scheduling activities based in our head office in Dubai and is expected to have one weekly progress meeting, which requires a visit to the site in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be a Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in bridge or infrastructure projects. The Assistant Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with client and authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, developing and maintaining project schedules using specialised Primavera P6 software, including KPI, Full Narrative Report, Detailed resource and cost-loaded POWs.
- Preparing an extension of time requires several techniques; Window analysis skills are mandatory.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather and analyse project data
- Help create and update project timelines, Gantt charts, and other planning documents
- Support resource allocation and optimisation efforts for ongoing projects
- Participate in progress meetings and contribute to project status reports
- Assist in identifying potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions
- Help monitor project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies
- Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
