The successful candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing young learners' enthusiasm for mathematics while adhering to the National Curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum for Primary Stage mathematics.
• Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration of mathematical concepts.
• Assess student progress through various evaluative methods and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Incorporate hands-on activities and resources that help young learners grasp core mathematical principles.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive classroom discussions and group work.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding students’ progress and any areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on best practices in primary math education and participate in professional development workshops.
• Engage in school community activities, promoting a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a relevant field.
• Teaching qualification with a focus on Primary Education is preferred.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in mathematics at the primary level.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies for young learners.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire and motivate young students.
• Commitment to continuous learning and collaborative teaching practices.
