Architect / Civil Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Architect / Civil Engineer to support site operations, monitor work progress, and ensure the timely and high-quality execution of finishing works and construction activities.
The selected candidates will undergo a 2-week training and evaluation period, during which four shortlisted candidates will be assessed on performance, discipline, and field effectiveness. The top-performing candidate will be selected for full-time employment.
This role requires strong field presence, excellent organization, and the ability to coordinate daily site activities while reporting accurately to management.
Requirements
A. Site Management & Coordination
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure work activities align with project execution plans.
- Follow up with subcontractors, labor teams, and suppliers to ensure workflow continuity.
- Coordinate material deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure proper storage and usage on site.
- Ensure safety measures and site cleanliness are maintained according to company standards.
B. Finishing Works Supervision
- Supervise and monitor finishing works including painting, tiling, carpentry, ceilings, MEP finishing, and other related activities.
- Check workmanship quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Report any defects or non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
C. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed daily progress reports, including accomplished tasks, issues, material status, and next steps.
- Document site activities through photos, checklists, and progress logs.
- Assist in preparing weekly summaries and updates for management review.
D. Follow-Up & Task Execution
- Track the status of ongoing tasks and ensure timely completion based on the project timeline.
- Assist the CEO and management team with on-site requirements, inspections, and coordination.
- Notify management of potential delays, challenges, or resource shortages.
- Support in creating punch lists and ensuring their resolution.
E. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is executed per engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Follow project policies, safety rules, and quality control procedures.
- Participate in site inspections with management, clients, or consultants.
F. Team Support
- Collaborate with field teams to resolve on-site challenges and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication between all parties involved (labor, supervisors, suppliers, management).
- Assist in scheduling tasks and coordinating work sequences.
Required Skills
-Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of architectural or civil engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and finishing schedules.
- Preferred: prior exposure to construction sites, finishing works, or supervision roles.
- Preferred: basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools for simple revisions or clarifications.
- Ability to perform basic quantity calculations for materials.
