What you'll do:
- Create and maintain the full employee journey for EU employees, ensuring smooth, compliant processes for contracts, onboarding, changes to employment, leave management, and offboarding.
- Support People Operations for all EU markets, ensuring legal accuracy, documentation consistency, and strong governance across Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, the UK, and the Netherlands.
- Prepare and validate payroll inputs for all markets (schedules, changes, overtime, allowances, absences, sick leave, holidays), ensuring accuracy and alignment with country-specific laws and internal controls.
- Partner with managers, HRBPs, and Store Leaders to support day-to-day People Ops topics such as documentation, scheduling rules, employee relations basics, and labor-law compliance.
- Manage guidelines and administration of benefits programs, including mobility benefits, company cars, travel rules, and per-diems, ensuring clear eligibility criteria, documentation standards, and cost control.
- Maintain HRIS accuracy (Personio) by managing employee records, workflows, permissions, and ensuring correct system integrations with Payroll and IT.
- Use JIRA to manage operational workflows, ticketing, process requests, and continuous-improvement tracking.
- Create, update, and scale SOPs, workflows, and operational documentation to ensure consistent high-quality delivery across all markets.
- Contribute to European retail expansion by supporting People processes for new store openings (contracts, onboarding, scheduling setup, compliance requirements).
Who we're looking for:
- You have a degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a similar field.
- You bring around 3 years of experience in People Operations or HR administration, ideally in an international or fast-growing company.
- You understand the full employee lifecycle and feel comfortable handling contracts, onboarding, changes, leave management, and offboarding.
- You have experience preparing payroll inputs and working closely with payroll or finance teams.
- You are familiar with HRIS systems (preferably Personio) and enjoy keeping employee data organized and accurate.
- You work in a structured, detail-oriented way and make sure processes are consistent and compliant.
- You like improving workflows, creating clear documentation, and helping teams work more efficiently.
- You are comfortable using tools like JIRA or other ticketing systems to manage daily requests.
- You communicate clearly, act proactively, and enjoy collaborating with managers, HRBPs, and colleagues across markets.
- You have strong English skills and enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
