Job Overview

We are looking for a talented, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed HR Business Partner to support our  teams across the United States and Canada. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about shaping and executing people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, talent growth, and an engaging employee experience.

As a senior HR BP, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy—partnering closely with regional and global senior leaders to translate business priorities into actionable talent and organizational strategies. You will guide leaders across workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, performance and capability development, and the execution of core HR programs. Additionally, you will oversee holistic HR service delivery in the region—including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and complex multi-state employee relations—while ensuring alignment with our culture, values, and long-term business goals.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks related to an assigned BU.

Strategic Adviser

  • Serve as the primary HR leader for senior leaders in a region, acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute their talent strategy to support business growth while ensuring an engaging, respectful work environment.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management, and skills assessment and development, ensuring strong alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with the business to lead routine talent reviews with focus on succession planning, employee growth and development, and organizational health priorities.
  • Ensures alignment of the region with the stated core purpose, values, goals and culture of the Endava business;
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning etc. to support the business strategy.
  • Proactively provides insights, counsel and recommendations to leadership on organizational design and effectiveness;
  • Participate in driving iterations related to company-wide programs based on feedback from BU;

 

Execution Focused

  • Drives and provides guidance on core People processes across the BU & region (workforce planning, grades and salary review processes, talent management, performance issues) and ensures alignment across processes with the rest of the region.
  • Works with the wider People team to deliver excellent people solutions within designated timelines and budgets. 
  • Ensures effective communication and training on people related matters to all stakeholders.
  • Utilize data, metrics and analytics to identify trends, develop data-driven recommendations to drive results in the organization and measure initiatives’ effectiveness and analyze business metrics including retention, engagement and other people data to recommend systemic improvements and measure ongoing impact.
  • Provide compensation support to leaders for salary actions, annual compensation cycles, promotions and job re-leveling to ensure internal equity and market alignment.

Talent Management and Engagement

  • Contributes to the capability growth plan for the BU & region, working with leaders to ensure it addresses the skills gaps and career growth plans of the individuals and teams.
  • Partner’s with client group leadership team and relevant People groups to drive a talent strategy focused on engagement and retention of top talent. 
  • Coach business partners in career development, leadership effectiveness and management practices, enabling sustained growth and capability building.
  • Assist in the development of people plans and scalable people solutions that enable strategic initiatives, drive results, and foster a work environment where all employees can thrive.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to support a sustainable talent pipeline.

 

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Manages and resolves employee relations cases, e.g., monitoring absence, capability, and performance, disciplinary investigations and mediating workplace conflict in line with the companies’ policies and legal requirements;
  • Escalates cases as needed to more senior level People Partner;
  • Keeps abreast of local employment legislation and translates the impact on our organization and business processes ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Contributes to the development, implementation and communication of policies and procedures and Provides guidance and interpretation on people policies;
  • Owns the relationship with local employees and union representations;
  • If necessary, handles complex union/redundancy consultations;
  • Drives strategic People programs at scale partnering with other People Group CoE’s and across broader regions
  • Mentors, coaches and provides feedback to managers at all levels; also mentors other People team members
