The role?

We are hiring a Contract Support Engineer to join our team. Responsible for supporting the operations of our team in Congo in all aspects of Office and Facilities Management. Oversee all administrative tasks and ensure office functionality. Accountable for ensuring all aspects of EnerMech’s facilities and vehicle needs are met and safely managed or delegated accordingly, ensuring all EnerMech maintenance of facilities (both remedial and project based) are completed to the EnerMech standard, safely and efficiently with appropriate financial awareness and management. 


Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  • Effectively manage all base and site activities in relation to office assets ensuring that any areas for concern are appropriately raised and managed. 
  • To provide leadership to team in setting standards of safety, housekeeping and quality. 
  • Proactively develop and manage the department processes and procedures ensuring communication and compliance from all business lines. 
  • Support the Operations & Logistics lead to manage efficient utilisation of both office and logistics equipment and personnel.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the facility runs smoothly and efficiently for the location
  • Management, training, development and performance of the reception, administration and facilities team. 
  • Utilise technical and operational expertise to provide service delivery solutions for internal customers.  Communicate effectively with service delivery staff to resolve areas of concern. 
  • Responsible for overhead control and utilisation of personnel. 
  • Monitor departmental costs and manpower requirements.  
  • To professionally liaise with internal and external customers as required.
  • Responsible for management of key service contractors for example but not limited to cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ensuring maintenance and repairs requirements are met within time and budget constraints. 
  • Provide Management Reports as required. 
  • Communicate with HR department to understand mobilisation planning and any requirements for work permit and VISA applications ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times with sensitive information. 
  • Support the business lines, business development and finance function in the processes of administration, month end billing and cash collection, in accordance and in line with company training received.  

Requirements

  • A minimum of a 3 Years' Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, with a preference for mechanical, electrical, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration within the oil & gas sector or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
