This is a hands on Account Manager role for someone who loves clients, likes being busy, and takes pride in getting things done well.
This Account Manager role is for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, stays calm when things get busy, and takes real pride in getting work over the line.
You’ll work across tech led client accounts, partnering closely with delivery teams on digital platforms and ongoing programs rather than one off campaigns. Your focus will be on managing day to day client relationships across platform builds, enhancements, upgrades and continuous support.
You’ll sit within a small group of client relationships, owning day to day delivery while building trust, momentum and growth. You won’t be on your own and will work alongside Account Directors, Project Managers, development, creative and experience teams, but you’ll be the person clients rely on to keep things moving.
We’re looking for someone with pace, positivity and a can-do attitude. Someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves, get into the detail, and bring good energy to the room. Skills matter, but attitude matters more.
Supporting Clients
You’ll be the main day to day contact for your clients, owning the working relationship and making sure things run smoothly which includes:
- Building strong, long term relationships based on trust and straight talking
- Managing client expectations early and clearly
- Giving practical advice and guidance, not just passing messages on
- Spotting issues before they become problems and dealing with them calmly
- Presenting ideas and recommendations with confidence
- Creating a positive environment that helps teams do their best work
Account Management
You’ll keep your accounts organised, on track and growing which means:
- Managing the day-to-day flow of work across your accounts
- Working with Group Account Directors or Senior Account Directos on account plans and growth ideas
- Helping identify opportunities within existing clients
- Leading internal catch ups to track progress and flag risks
- Keeping everyone aligned on priorities, timing and next steps
Planning and briefing
You’ll help turn client needs into clear direction for the team which include:
- Writing briefs that set projects up for success
- Working closely with tech, strategy and delivery teams
- Reviewing work and making sure it answers the brief
- Keeping an eye on digital trends and bringing relevant ideas to clients
Commercial and growth
You’ll take care of the commercial basics and help grow your accounts, including:
- Keeping scope and charging clear and accurate
- Supporting estimates and statements of work
- Flagging changes early when work shifts
- Helping forecast revenue
- Working closely with project managers to keep delivery on track
- Supporting pitches and spotting growth opportunities within your accounts
