Job Overview

As a Commercial Insights Analyst you will perform a key role supporting stakeholders from all areas of the business, as well as working with the Reporting Analysts on the key reporting capability of the wider Insight & Analytics team.

Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will be part of the Commercial Analytics team providing insights that contribute to the ongoing commercial success of the business.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytical processes, while optimizing data models, enhancing automation workflows, and improving overall reporting efficiency. 

  • Provide analysis. Understand the data, draw out actionable findings, and deliver them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.  

  • Take ownership of macro-level KPI reporting across the business, ensuring timely and accurate data is consistently available. 

  • Proactively monitor key metrics to identify unusual performance and highlight potential risks or opportunities, while contributing to the Commercial Analytics KPI framework to ensure all metrics remain relevant and aligned with business goals. 

  • Monitor new and existing data flow processes to ensure continual improvement in data quality and availability.  

  • Work closely with Marketing Analytics function to ensure alignment. 

  • Work collaboratively with FP&A, Marketing, Sports and Gaming analysts within the wider team. 

  • Liaise with FP&A team for all forecasting and reporting related issues.

Occasional

  • Represent the Commercial Insights and Analytics team in cross-functional meetings / project teams when necessary. Represent the Commercial Insights and Analytics team in cross-functional projects and initiatives where data quality and automation improvements are key.
