IT Support Technician
Job Overview
These positions are part of the REN Production Engineering organization and are full-time, permanent, on-site roles. Team members will work in a collaborative environment, supporting both new business initiatives and ensuring the stability of existing systems. The primary focus will be on monitoring production systems and providing Tier 1 support for Point-of-Sale solutions.
· Lead internal and external communications during incidents, including managing bridge calls and serving as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers.
· Deliver multilingual support (English-Spanish) to customers, vendors, and internal teams through email, chat, phone, and ticketing systems.
· Generate and distribute daily reports and other documentation as requested by business stakeholders.
Requirements
· Monitor operations across services, applications, data center infrastructure, network, telecommunications, and transactions for all Euronet divisions, ensuring timely detection of issues.
· Identify, escalate, and support resolution of production and product-related incidents, actively contributing to root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
· Utilize a variety of monitoring tools to detect and analyze issues across multiple platforms and environments.
· Lead internal and external communications during incidents, including managing bridge calls and serving as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers.
· Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and support for both production and business-impacting outages, working to minimize disruption and ensure continuity of service.
· Deliver multilingual support (English-Spanish) to customers, vendors, and internal teams through email, chat, phone, and ticketing systems.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all business units regarding operational incidents and inquiries.
· Coordinate with internal teams to clarify and support implementation of new system features or functionality.
· Communicate patches, configuration updates, or infrastructure changes to clients when relevant, ensuring transparency and operational alignment.
Generate and distribute daily reports and other documentation as requested by business stakeholders.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Intermediate to high knowledge on the following areas:
· Database & Systems:
o Microsoft SQL Server – basic query writing using SSMS
o Microsoft Windows Server (2008/2012/2016) – basic administration and monitoring
o Troubleshooting OS-level services: DNS, DHCP, IIS
· Monitoring Tools:
o Experience with tools such as SolarWinds, ELK Stack, Icinga, Zabbix, and Jira
· Virtualization & Networking (Preferred):
o Basic understanding of VMware
o Knowledge of TCP/IP; CCNA certification is a plus
· Frameworks (Preferred):
o Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT 5 best practices
