We’re looking for an Inbound Sales Team Leader to lead a team of Account Executives managing inbound leads in the SMB segment. This role blends coaching, performance management, and strategic oversight with hands-on support for daily sales execution.
Responsibilities
As an Inbound Sales Team Leader, you will:
- Team Management: Lead a team of Account Executives (AEs), providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Performance Management: Ensure team targets are met, monitoring performance and providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and mentorship programs to develop AEs’ skills in leading effective meetings and pipeline management.
- Onboarding: Onboard new AE's in cooperation with Sales Enablement.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee and optimize the team's pipeline management efforts and hygiene.
- Forecasting: Present realistic sales forecasts to the management team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with SDR, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to align on goals, strategies, and lead handoff processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase team productivity, performance, and overall success.
Requirements
To be successful in this role as an Inbound Sales Team Leader, you should have:
- Proven experience as a top-performing AE or Team Lead in a SaaS or technology sales environment.
- Experience leading inbound sales motions; ideally in a high-velocity SMB context.
- Strong coaching mindset: able to diagnose issues and elevate skills across discovery, demo, and closing.
- Data-driven, organized, and comfortable working within Salesforce and related tools (e.g. Gong).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
