That's where you come in! We are looking for a Financial Analyst (Middle Level) to join our FP&A function and support the company’s continued growth. This role reports directly to the FP&A Manager and is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience, strong analytical thinking, and hands-on skills in financial modeling and SaaS metrics.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst you will:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles across all company functions.
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve financial models, including revenue and cost models, SaaS cohort models, and scenario planning frameworks.
- Prepare monthly FP&A reporting packages, conduct variance analyses, and deliver insights on business performance.
SaaS KPI Analytics
- Maintain and enhance reporting for key SaaS metrics, such as MRR/ARR, churn and retention, NRR/GRR, ACV, LTV, CAC, payback, and cohort performance.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on revenue trends, customer behavior, expansion and contraction drivers, and other performance indicators.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, RevOps, and other teams to understand performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
- Support board and investor reporting by preparing accurate datasets, charts, and narrative insights.
Data, Tools & Dashboards
- Use Excel / Google Sheets to develop high-quality models and analyses.
- Contribute to the transition toward more advanced BI environments (e.g., Tableau).
- Improve existing dashboards and help automate recurring reporting.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Conduct scenario and what-if analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for operational and financial improvement.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and support business cases for new initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role as a Financial Analyst, you should have:
- 2–4 years of professional experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
- Proven experience in financial modeling - revenue models, forecasting, scenario modeling.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription economics (MRR, ARR, Churn, NRR, LTV/CAC, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a scale-up environment with evolving processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics
Nice to have
- Experience in a SaaS company or subscription business model is a plus
- Knowledge of Tableau is a plus
- FMVA, FP&A, CFA Level 1 or other relevant certifications is a plus
