Business Officer - Bookings (Leave Cover)

The Business Officer (Bookings) performs a variety of functions under the Patient Service Centre umbrella including: reception, administration, data entry, patient pre admissions, consulting suites, admissions and discharge; Billing: Health Fund processing; patient scheduling; receiving and processing of maternity, theatre and bed bookings and liaising with medical specialists, practice managers, theatre staff and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective use of operating time in producing a comprehensive theatre schedule that best utilises hospital resources.

We are currently recruiting for part-time, fixed term (Until Feb 2027) - open to discuss a casual opportunity. 

You will be required to work across our Epworth HealthCare sites but will mainly be based at our Epworth Freemasons site (East Melbourne).

• Previous demonstrated experience in a similar administration role
