Registered Nurse - General Surgical

We are seeking a passionate, flexible and dynamic Registered Nurse with strong acute experience to join our team at Epworth Geelong! This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our surgical ward at Geelong which specialises in breast and endocrine, ENT, neurosurgery, plastics, vascular, hepatobiliary, colorectal, upper and lower GI, bariatric weight loss surgery, dental and ophthalmology.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse having previously worked in an acute surgical ward. You will be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes.  A strong communicator, you have a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with patients and their families.  You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Minimum of 4 years experience in acute surgical nursing
• An excellent clinical understanding of surgical nursing care

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to your professional development
• The ability to work within a team focused environment
