About the Role

In this role, based at Epworth Richmond, you will work within our dedicated Orthopaedic wards delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across the full patient journey—from pre-operative assessment through to rehabilitation and discharge.

You will care for patients undergoing:

  • Total hip and knee replacements
  • Revision joint surgery
  • Shoulder, spinal and trauma-related procedures
  • Pre- and post-operative surgical care

Our Orthopaedic Wards

You’ll work across our specialised surgical units:

  • 6 LEE – 35 beds
  • 5 LEE – 37 beds
  • 3BE/4BE – 35 beds combined

We support thousands of patients each year through:

  • 4,000+ joint replacements
  • 1,100+ trauma admissions
  • A diverse mix of elective and acute surgical care

What You’ll Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong surgical nursing foundations
  • Orthopaedic experience (preferred, but not essential — we’ll support you to grow!)
  • A collaborative, safety-focused approach
  • A passion for helping patients recover, regain mobility, and return to what they love
