Director Operations Epworth Healthy Living
Full-time AssociateJob Overview
Director of Operations | Epworth Healthy Living | Fulltime (Fixed Term 3 years)
Lead the launch of preventative health and wellbeing at Epworth.
Epworth is opening an exciting new chapter with the launch of Epworth Healthy Living, an innovative preventative health and longevity service designed to help individuals optimise their health and wellbeing through every stage of life. We are seeking an accomplished healthcare leader to join the Division Executive and lead the establishment, growth and long-term success of this exciting new service, based in Richmond and working across Epworth locations.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a start-up healthcare venture within one of Australia's leading not-for-profit healthcare organisations. Combining operational leadership, service development, stakeholder engagement and technology implementation, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategic vision into a high-performing, scalable and client-centred service. Unlike traditional healthcare operations roles, this position is dedicated exclusively to the Healthy Living service and focuses on building and growing a contemporary preventative health model, rather than hospital operations, patient access or bed flow management.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Continuing Care and Support Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of service delivery, workforce management, financial performance, governance, quality, safety and customer experience. Working closely with clinicians, medical specialists and executive leaders, you will drive operational readiness, service innovation and sustainable growth while delivering an exceptional experience for clients and stakeholders
In this role, you will:
- Lead the operational establishment and growth of Epworth Healthy Living.
- Deliver strategic and operational plans that drive sustainable growth and service excellence.
- Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, governance and risk management.
- Foster strong partnerships with medical specialists, clinicians, executives and community stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service redesign initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, quality and exceptional customer experience.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators across operational, financial and quality domains.
