Material Controlman - Saudi Arabia

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Material Controlman to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia's dynamic Oil and Gas sector. As a key player in the supply chain, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of materials, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery to project sites. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials needed for successful project execution while maximizing cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials necessary for Oil and Gas operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control to support ongoing projects and prevent disruptions.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and reliable deliveries.
• Implement best practices for materials management to optimize costs and improve service levels.
• Coordinate with project teams to anticipate material needs and proactively address potential issues.
• Utilize ERP software for monitoring and reporting on material usage and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations related to material handling and storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in materials control or supply chain management in the Oil and Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of material handling processes and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex supply chains.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for vendor interactions.
• Familiarity with relevant software applications, including ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
