Erste Operations is part of the international financial institution Erste Group and supports various banking processes across the group entities such as payment processes, data maintenance, lending services and customer operations. We are more than just operations – we are a centerpiece of modern banking. The Erste Operations team of over 500 professionals, based in Vienna (Austria) and Hodonín (Czech Republic), serves banks in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia and Poland.
As Erste Group successfully acquired 49% Santander Bank Polska (which will rebrand to Erste Bank Polska in Q2 2026), Erste Operations will expand to Poland and take over approximately 230 employees of a local processing center. For this, we are searching an experienced HR Manager to support local management. In this role, you will single-handedly service the local employees with end-to-end responsibility, act as the valued HR advisor to local management and collaborate with Erste Group HR.
Your Tasks
Act as a trusted HR partner for the leadership team and advise on all HR‑related topics
Directly report to the Head of Operations Poland
Hands-on operation of the full HR lifecycle end‑to‑end (recruiting, onboarding, compensation & benefits, development, payroll)
Support and shape leadership development as well as a strong feedback culture
Drive performance & development processes and support organizational changes
Manage the payout of salaries and bonuses with an external provider
Analyze HR data and provide insights and reports to management
Coordinate with external lawyers when HR-legal questions arise
