Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose: As the Manager Games Partnerships & Activations, you will be the day‑to‑day engine that moves the publisher's activities from plan to reality. You will manage agencies we work with, schedules, asset readiness, and publisher co-branding QA so every publisher touchpoint ships on time, on spec, and on brand across Esports World Cup & Esports Nations Cup. You will support publisher-focused marketing execution for both the Esports World Cup and the Esports Nations Cup. Act as the operational backbone for approvals, trackers, and creative asset routing, while managing relationships with marketing and communications peers at the game studios and publishers we work with.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the daily marketing point-of-contact for assigned publishers (status updates, check-ins, clarifications).
Nurture trust by ensuring publisher needs are routed internally and answered promptly.
Support and participate in concept development of publisher activations
Manage day-to-day coordination of publisher announcements and key beats (blog posts, social copy, trailers).
Work closely with our Strategic Marketing and Fan Marketing departments to align publisher co-marketing campaign plans (social, influencer, video content).
Maintain asset specs, lockup guides, QA checklists, and post‑mortem learnings for the next cycle.
Participate in creative reviews as they relate to publisher assets, not only for compliance, but also for strategic resonance.
Conceptualize new ways to tie publisher campaigns into broader fan journey touchpoints
Collect not only delivery evidence but also engagement metrics
Draft initial “mini-reports” for publishers and internal functional department leads
Identify new opportunities for partnerships, campaigns, and co-marketing activities with our publisher partners that will drive community engagement and expand our reach.
Support publishers on the EWC Festival planning by aligning their comms/creative with the on-site footprint.
Attend festival walkthroughs with our Festival department, capture publisher feedback, and relay improvement opportunities.
Coordinate last‑mile fixes for our EWC Festival and capture compliance evidence in real time.
Education and Experience
5+ years of experience in IP collaborations, marketing, brand management, partnership management, or a related role, within the gaming industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior experience of working for a game publisher or studio is a BIG plus
Strong network within the gaming industry with major game publishers and developers
Proven experience working with famous pop culture IPs, such as global brands and AAA publishers
Strong understanding of marketing principles and community engagement strategies within the gaming and esports industry.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and partners simultaneously.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving brand excitement and growth.
Experience with in-game advertising platforms is a plus
Fluent in written and verbal English
Nice to have:
Experience working at/with gaming conventions with on-ground activations
In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian gaming culture
Fluent in Arabic
