Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose: This role leads the full digital ecosystem of the Esports World Cup Foundation - including the EWC and ENC websites, mobile apps, fantasy experiences, quests, authentication systems, and all fan-facing digital products. The Director owns the end-to-end digital fan journey and drives the product strategy that powers discovery, engagement, and retention across our global audience.

You will drive innovation, personalization, and engagement through smart product design, data insights, and technology partnerships, creating a digital ecosystem that deepens fans’ connection with EWC year-round.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for all EWC and ENC digital products, including website, mobile app, fantasy, quests, and emerging fan engagement features.

  • Build a cohesive, high-quality digital fan experience across all platforms, owning the end-to-end fan journey.

  • Design and launch a digital rewards/loyalty system to drive repeat engagement and long-term retention.

  • Drive personalization and content relevance using behavioral data, audience insights, and real-time signals.

  • Oversee product development and delivery with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring speed, quality, and iteration.

  • Ensure top-tier performance, stability, and uptime across global markets and devices.

  • Manage third-party integrations, including Twitch Extensions, Discord bots, login/auth systems, partner APIs, and data feeds.

  • Integrate storytelling, live data, and community features in collaboration with Fan Marketing, Content, Broadcast, and Creative teams.

  • Partner with Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, and Data to ensure all systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and interoperable.

  • Lead governance for digital products, ensuring adherence to security, privacy, and data-handling standards.

  • Oversee authentication systems, permissions, and user-data infrastructure across all fan-facing properties.

  • Manage technology partners and vendors responsible for product development, hosting, and platform maintenance.

  • Define and monitor KPIs for engagement, retention, performance, and overall product health, reporting consistently to leadership.

  • Coordinate global and regional product releases, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality execution.

  • Ensure all digital products reflect the EWC and ENC brand identity, tone, and creative vision.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing Digital Product team capable of executing a multi-platform strategy at a global scale.

  • Identify and champion new technologies, industry trends, and innovation opportunities in esports, gaming, and fan experience.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product management, digital media, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, UX strategy, or platform operations within gaming, esports, or entertainment industries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven track record in leading multi-platform digital ecosystems (web, mobile, fantasy, or interactive experiences).

  • Strong understanding of fan engagement, personalization, and retention mechanics.

  • Experience managing third-party integrations, APIs, and technology vendors.

  • Deep knowledge of UX/UI best practices and digital product lifecycle management.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform product decisions.

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional digital teams in fast-paced, global environments.

  • Experience developing loyalty or rewards systems within digital ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with Twitch Extensions, Discord integrations, or other platform-based fan tools.

  • Understanding of esports audiences, communities, and online fan behavior.
