Job Purpose: As the Senior Manager of the National Development Fund, you are responsible for the strategic management and execution of the fund that supports the Esports Nations Cup (ENC). You will design, distribute, and oversee funding programs that strengthen national esports ecosystems globally, ensuring funding is impactful, compliant, and aligned with ENC’s long-term objectives.

You will act as the central owner of the fund - shaping its structure, monitoring outcomes, and working closely with national federations, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure sustainable and transparent development of esports at a national level.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the multimillion annual National Development Fund, including planning, allocation, monitoring, and reporting

• Design funding frameworks, eligibility criteria, and distribution models aligned with ENC objectives and global best practices

• Lead annual funding cycles, including application processes, evaluation, approvals, and disbursement

• Monitor fund utilization, financial compliance, and performance against agreed KPIs and impact metrics

• Develop tools and processes to track spend, outcomes, and long-term ecosystem impact across participating nations

• Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit requirements, and external regulatory standards

• Partner closely with national federations, esports bodies, and relevant stakeholders to support effective use of funding

• Advise on strategic investment priorities to accelerate national team development, grassroots programs, and competitive infrastructure

• Prepare executive-level reports, insights, and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders

• Contribute to the evolution of ENC’s development strategy, funding concepts, and long-term sustainability model

• Support the Head of National Team Relations in ongoing relationship management with national federations

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Sports Governance, Business Administration, Legal or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in fund management, grants, development programs, or large-scale funding initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in traditional sports organizations, international sporting bodies, or multinational funding institutions (e.g. global development, public funding, or multilateral programs)

• Strong understanding of funding governance, compliance, and impact measurement

• Exposure to esports, gaming, or competitive sports ecosystems is highly preferred

• Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder, international environments

• Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

• High financial literacy and confidence managing large budgets

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Professional fluency in English mandatory, with additional language skills such as French or Spanish as a plus

• Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with governance frameworks

• Ability to balance accountability, flexibility, and ecosystem growth
