Position Overview
The Office of the President (OOP) is seeking an intern to support the principal’s core team in its content creation and amplification priorities; to assist in preparing briefing materials; to provide support for network engagement initiatives; as well as tracking news and geopolitical developments in key geographies.
This internship will provide opportunities to learn about the geopolitical risk field, develop competencies applicable to the work of a principal support role, and to explore the intersection of business, government, media, and the public sector. Applicants should be students of high achievement near the conclusion of their undergraduate studies, or actively enrolled in graduate academic institution.
Responsibilities
- Consolidating and updating briefing materials
- Supporting short- and long-form editorial and content creation priorities
- Producing meeting notes, summaries and minutes
- Conducting network mapping projects to identify thought leaders, experts, and senior stakeholders to engage in firm-wide initiatives
- Work alongside the principal’s team to help advance key internal strategic initiatives

Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in academic institution, graduate-level enrollment a plus
- Ability to perform web-based research and analysis; with a strong preference for candidates who are able to effectively translate complex issues into concise copy and who can navigate matrixed organizational charts
- Strong writing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
- Academic background in political science, international relations, economics, or a related field
- Some professional experience in, or exposure to (including internships/fellowships) government, NGOs, philanthropic or consulting institutions is a plus
- Full business proficiency in the English language
- Must be able to work from the NY office 3 days per week
- Must be available during the full duration of the program
