Senior Group Purchasing Process Specialist - Temporary Contract

Eurofins is seeking a proactive and analytical specialist to drive both global and local initiatives within our purchasing organization. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations while delivering results that are cost-effective and timely.

You’ll perform in-depth cost and savings analyses to empower strategic decisions, lead category strategy implementation, and mentor junior team members to elevate project management standards. With significant autonomy, you’ll provide actionable insights to senior management, champion process improvements, and demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and growth. Key Objectives:

• Leads the development and implementation of purchasing strategies for various projects

• Deployment of new processes and associated tools, defining and running change management and communication plans, training end users, etc.;

• Monitoring and continuous improvement of newly deployed processes and associated tools.

• Establishing process transformation projects, defining objectives, deliverables, and agreeing associated timelines with stakeholders;

• Coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders and team timely delivery of project outcomes.

• Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.

• Provide regular status updates to Manager and stakeholders within the group.

• Diagnose of current processes, strengths and weaknesses, identifying pain points and key areas of improvements;

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand project requirements and timelines.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and support Purchasing Team KPIs delivery

• Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to procurement.

• Support the Purchasing Manager in deployment of new processes and associated tools, defining and running change management and communication plans, training end users, etc.;

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
