IT Systems Engineering Intern

About the Role

The IT Systems Engineering Summer Internship is an onsite, temporary (~8 weeks) role, supporting the IT team.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the IT Manager.

Your Role

• Learning to assist with general IT Helpdesk tasks, including troubleshooting and maintenance of IT equipment and systems
• Learn and represent the core fundamentals of good IT Department customer service
• Analyze and audit existing systems for possible upgrades and improvements
• Work on projects such as documentation and auditing procedures to keep them up to date
• Train users on best practices when using organization equipment
• Shadow and assist IT Department division leaders with complex projects that impact the IT department and organization
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to improve department and company efficiency and security

Qualifications (Required)

• Working towards an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science
• Some experience in IT work is a plus
