Minyama, Sunshine Coast QLD | Full-time | $130,000 to $150,000 + Profit Bonus

I'm Tom Harley, founder of Tactical Tradie.

Before this, I built a plumbing business in Melbourne to over 70 full-time staff in under five years, then successfully exited. I know what it takes to grow a trade business properly. Not just stay busy, but build something profitable, structured, and scalable.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who builds and owns marketing systems for a living. You will own our entire funnel from traffic to revenue, and you will have the autonomy to build it properly.

There is no one on the team who has your expertise. That is exactly why we are hiring. You are not coming in to be managed. You are coming in to be the expert.

You will work onsite at our Minyama office on the Sunshine Coast. You will have VA support. And you will have direct access to leadership when you need it.

You find where it breaks. You fix it. Here is what that looks like in practice:

Marketing Automation and Systems

▸ Own all workflows, pipelines and automations inside GoHighLevel

▸ Build and optimise email nurture sequences, SMS follow-ups, no-show sequences and re-engagement campaigns

▸ Keep the CRM clean, structured and accurately tracked

Funnels and Conversion

▸ Build lead magnet funnels, paid workshop funnels and booking flows

▸ A/B test landing pages and offers, and fix conversion drop-offs fast

▸ Improve show rates and speed to lead with smart automations

Paid Ads

▸ Manage and optimise Meta campaigns alongside an existing contractor

▸ Improve CPL, cost per booked call, and CPA through data-driven testing

AI and Automation

▸ Use tools like Manus, Open Claw, Riverside, Claude and ChatGPT as part of your daily workflow

▸ Continuously find new ways to automate, systemise and scale our marketing output

Lifecycle and Database Marketing

▸ Build re-engagement campaigns for old leads, past clients and cold database

▸ Drive revenue from the existing database without increasing ad spend

Reporting

▸ Track cost per sale, revenue per lead and funnel conversion rates

▸ Deliver clear weekly performance insights and your plan to improve them

You are genuinely good at this. Not just familiar with the tools but actually great at building systems that convert.

▸ You have deep, hands-on experience with GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM and automation platform

▸ You have built and optimised funnels before and you can show the work

▸ You understand Meta ads and know how to improve performance through data, not guesswork

▸ You use AI tools including Manus, Riverside, Claude and ChatGPT as a natural part of how you work

▸ You come from an agency or digital product background and you thrive without a safety net

▸ You have a high ownership mindset. You see a gap, you fix it. No excuses.

▸ You are self-directed and data-driven with a strong focus on revenue outcomes

▸ $130,000 to $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
