Are you an experienced Pharmaceutical Solid State Scientist with knowledge of development and validation of analytical methods? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you will work with both GMP and development?

We are seeking a qualified candidate to assume the role of Project Scientist within our Solid State team in Lund.

As Pharmaceutical Solid State Scientist you will:

  • Execute analyses covering a broad spectrum of techniques such as XRPD, TGA, DSC, GVS, BET, SEM, microcalorimetry and laser diffraction on behalf of external clients within the pharmaceutical and medical device industry

  • Work with development and validation of analytical methods

  • Be responsible for maintenance and administration of instruments

  • Independently perform investigations such as salt and polymorph screens, crystallisation development and detailed evaluations of the process robustness and long-term stability of pharmaceutical compounds and products

  • Deliver written reports summarizing results from performed analyses and investigations.

  • Work in both development and GMP quality systems

Profile:

You are:

  • MSc or PhD in physical or analytical chemistry or equivalent

  • Experienced in using advanced analytical instruments

  • Enthusiastic for practical experimental work and interested in technical instrumentation

  • Curious and attracted by problem-solving

  • Comfortable at providing written reports in English

  • Possessing the ability to work within a set structure and with several assignments in parallel

Meriting:

  • Experience from pharmaceutical development

  • Experience from GMP analysis environment

  • Experience working with the listed instruments above
