Finance Domain Expert - AI Model Evaluation (US Remote, Contract)

Type: Freelance/Contract | Remote | Flexible hours (10-40 hrs/week)

We’re looking for experienced finance professionals to collaborate with AI researchers on evaluating and improving large language models (LLMs) used in financial analysis. This role focuses on applying real-world finance expertise to assess AI-generated outputs, define quality benchmarks, and help shape how AI systems understand complex financial concepts. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI / LLM outputs across finance use cases where models underperform

• Apply professional finance judgment to assess analyses, assumptions, and conclusions

• Create clear rubrics and benchmarks to measure model quality (e.g. deal analysis, M&A assessments, financial modelling)

• Collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts to improve training and evaluation methods

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Quant, FP&A, Accounting, or Financial Consulting

• Strong understanding of core finance concepts (investment analysis, forecasting, valuation, corporate finance, asset management, risk management, etc.)

• Excellent written English communication

• Permanent right to work in the US

Nice to have:

• CFA (any level), CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance)
