Responsibilities:
- Manage caregivers, including supervision, training, and performance evaluations
- Assist with department schedules and hiring, ensuring optimal staffing levels
- Ensure Department is Title XXII compliant at all times, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Ensure resident care is being done per assessment and documenting, regularly reviewing and updating care plans
- Assist and manage resident emergencies, coordinating with medical professionals when necessary
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and staff members
- Organize and lead resident care conferences
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to resident care
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the care department
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in assisted living care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities
