🎯 The Role

We’re hiring a Payments Analyst to bring clarity, structure, and analytical rigour to payments performance.

This is a high-impact analytical role focused on surfacing insights across authorisation, declines, retries, and recovery. You’ll provide the visibility and confidence required to power payments optimisation and roadmap decisions at scale.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Analyse authorisation rates, declines, retries, recovery, and issuer responses

• Investigate performance patterns across regions, payment methods, and user journeys

• Surface trends, anomalies, and root causes in payment outcomes

• Support experimentation through A/B test design, analysis, and interpretation

• Build and maintain trusted dashboards for core payments KPIs

• Monitor performance and proactively flag risks or optimisation opportunities

• Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders

👀 Who You Are

• Experience in an analytical role within payments, fintech, e-commerce, or a related domain

• Strong analytical mindset with advanced SQL skills; Python is a plus

• Comfortable working with large datasets, dashboards, and performance metrics

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving instincts

• Able to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Comfortable managing multiple analyses in parallel
