We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake, and solid experience building and managing data pipelines in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing scalable data solutions and will ideally bring hands-on knowledge of tools such as Matillion and/or SnapLogic. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows with a focus on Snowflake and SQL. 

• Build, optimize, and manage scalable data models for analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases. 

• Integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and scalability. 

• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

• Apply best practices in data governance, quality, and security across pipelines and platforms. 

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 

• Leverage modern tools (Matillion, SnapLogic, or equivalent) to streamline ingestion, transformation, and automation. 

• Support CI/CD and version control practices to enable agile data development. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake. 

• Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines at scale. 

• Solid understanding of data pipeline principles, including batch and real-time processing. 

• Strong experience in performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets. 

• Proficiency with modern data integration tools (Matillion and/or SnapLogic preferred). 

• Experience working with APIs and cloud-based data services. 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. 

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Hands-on experience with Matillion and/or SnapLogic in production environments. 

• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation. 

• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 

• Experience with data quality and cleansing frameworks. 

• Familiarity with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
