Revenue Accountant

The role will be responsible for running the core process to enable revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 as well as providing robust explanations on variances to forecast and designing and implementation process improvements.  The role requires strong data analysis skills.

Specifically, the role involves:

• Own the month-end closing revenue accounting and reporting processes
• Take responsibility for the successful completion of the external audit of revenue and associated balance sheet balances
• Design and implement process and reporting improvements
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations of deferred, unbilled and accrued revenue
• Calculation of monthly bad debt provision

90% of the Group’s revenue is recurring subscription revenue with the remaining 10% being revenue from consultancy projects and the hosting of Industry Events.

The Group’s consolidated revenue is c£170m and has historically grown by more than 10% each year. The Group’ customers are based all over the world and are invoiced in $, £, € and CNY.
