POSITION SUMMARY
The Catering Cook (CC) is primarily responsible for assisting in the preparation of food for catering events including maintaining sanitation standards for the kitchen and events. This role will at times engage with clients and must provide superior customer service, with a pleasant demeanor.
COMPENSATION: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine kitchen tasks and follow production lists and schedules
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
Assist with research and development of recipes and cataloging recipes in binders.
Scale recipes for production.
Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
Attend catering events, set up food stations, and replenish food as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces including shelves in cooler and freezer and taking out trash.
Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
