Secret Media Network (SMN) is Fever’s global lifestyle publisher and one of the most engaging entertainment media brands in the world. With 100+ hyper-local city guides, including Secret NYC, Secret London, and more. We create relevant, inspiring content that helps people discover the best experiences in their cities.
Each week, our content reaches over 100 million people worldwide through websites and social media channels. We provide authentic visibility for commercial partners while building vibrant, engaged communities. Our mission: to become the most trusted guide and entry point to the Fever marketplace.The Role:
As an Editorial and Content Intern, you will support the development of digital content by researching topics, writing articles, monitoring content performance, and contributing to editorial initiatives. This role provides valuable exposure to content creation, SEO, digital publishing, and social media within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Researching, pitching, and writing engaging editorial articles tailored to a specific city market
- Producing accurate, informative, and SEO-optimized content at pace
- Learning and applying SEO best practices to ensure strong search engine positioning
- Monitoring and updating daily site content, including news, features, and local reporting
- Researching and becoming knowledgeable about venues, events, restaurants, and cultural trends in the assigned city
- Managing and contributing to an editorial calendar alongside editors and fellow writers
- Supporting coverage of trending stories, seasonal campaigns, and long-lead features
- Proofreading articles and headlines to meet SMN editorial standards and style guidelines
- Assisting with social media amplification across META platforms.
- Proficiency in the role’s required language (English, French, or Portuguese)
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience or strong interest in digital writing or journalism
- A strong sense of what makes content engaging and shareable on social media
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social platforms
- An organized and proactive approach to managing tasks and deadlines
- A genuine interest in city life, culture, food, entertainment, and local news
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced editorial environment
- Able to course an internship for a period of 6 months
