BI / Data Developer
Job Overview
A leading financial institution in Malta is seeking a Data Developer to join its established team. The Bank operates across thirteen retail branches, serving both personal and business clients, and is part of a diversified international group. The role focuses on building and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft technologies, ensuring high data quality, and supporting business intelligence needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop ETL processes using SSIS, Python, and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Create XML/CSV data export files.
- Develop and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and security across all data processes.
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions for analytics and BI.
- Document business processes and build, test, and maintain data flows within Microsoft’s data technology stack.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT.
- 3–5 years’ experience in data development, ideally in the financial sector.
- Strong background in SQL, data modelling, and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT).
- Hands-on experience with: SSIS ETL soltions / SSRS reporting / Python
- (Assets) Experience with: DBT / .NET / Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
