The Shop Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shop, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, exceptional technical knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and effective workflow within the service department.
  • Monitor and prioritize repair orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team members' skills and productivity.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate and timely communication with customers regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new technicians, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Monitor and control department expenses, optimizing resources and maintaining profitability.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a Shop Foreman preferred

Pay: $238,400 to $278,000 is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including minimum guarantee, commissions, bonuses, benefits (vacation and sick), etc.  Employees in this position will be paid a minimum guarantee of $70,800 per year.  Commissions are expected to range from $167,000 to $207,200 per year based on performance.
