You will:

As an Account Manager, you’ll help clients grow by understanding their supply chain needs, strengthening relationships, and ensuring they get full value from Flexport. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and deepen relationships with client executives and key stakeholders through regular check-ins and proactive support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, including upsell, cross-sell and renewal conversations.
  • Oversee client onboarding, operating procedures, and implementation timelines for new opportunities.
  • Monitor account health (financials, metrics and escalations) using tools like Salesforce to surface insights and drive improvements.
  • Lead client touchpoints and quarterly business reviews that highlight value, performance and future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure a consistent experience across regions.
  • Continue developing supply chain expertise and mentor fellow Account Managers to strengthen the broader team.

You should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or another client-facing role, ideally within supply chain, logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Fluency in Dutch.
  • Client-centric: obsessed with client outcomes, doing what it takes to deliver the client’s expectations, understanding your client’s current and future business goals and challenges and translating those into relevant solutions and strategic account planning.
  • Hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Deeply curious: always working to understand the client’s needs and learn how Flexport can best meet them.
  • Next-level attention to detail: enjoy combing through the metrics and details to identify opportunities to improve internally or better manage the client relationship.
  • Proven track record of (cross) selling a product.
  • Strong focus on growing your customers through a consultative approach.
