Job Overview
- Architect & Build: Design, develop, and operate resilient, high-performance, and secure web experiences using technologies like Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, and NextJS. You will build the features that customers interact with daily, from secure authentication flows to engaging gamification experiences.
- Lead Complex Feature Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery of significant features, from technical design through implementation to production monitoring. You will tackle challenging problems like building fraud-resistant systems, creating seamless onboarding experiences, and developing self-service profile management.
- Champion Web as an Experimentation Platform: Help establish our web platform as the fastest path from idea to validated learning. You will build with A/B testing and rapid iteration in mind, enabling the business to experiment at speed and validate ideas fast.
- Drive Frontend Excellence: Advocate for and implement best practices in testing, code quality, and frontend architecture within your team. You will lead code reviews, mentor other engineers, and raise the bar for what good looks like.
- Instrument for Observability: Ensure the features you build are observable and reliable. You will implement monitoring, error tracking, and performance measurement that gives the team confidence in production and enables data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate Deeply: Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, Designers, and Marketing stakeholders to shape solutions that balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Contribute to Cross-Team Initiatives: Participate in frontend architecture discussions and contribute to shared tooling and patterns that benefit other teams in the Consumer domain. Your influence will extend beyond your immediate team as you help shape web best practices.
- Foster Security Awareness: In a team that handles authentication and fraud prevention, security is essential. You will follow security best practices, identify potential vulnerabilities, and help ensure customer data and accounts stay safe.
