As a Planner, you will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial process systems. By developing the sequence and lead time for each operation, you'll work to meet the client’s forecasted master schedule. Additionally, you will partner with designated procurement staff to ensure that necessary materials and supplies are available to facilitate efficient and effective work schedules.
What would you be doing?
- Collaborate with Site Managers and project teams to develop, monitor, and analyze project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Coordinate and manage outside services, handle administrative tasks, and ensure all spending is approved by the Project Manager while maintaining a master project schedule.
- Mentor and evaluate junior schedulers/planners, delivering accurate and timely project reports, and identifying areas of concern to propose effective solutions.
- Recommend improvements to the planning and scheduling process, ensuring adherence to safety standards and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Lead project initiation phases, review contractor schedules for feasibility, and oversee effective planning, construction, and project turnover.
