Pigment Model Builder
Full-timeJob Overview
The Pigment Model Builder will sit on our FP&A team as our in-house Pigment expert, owning the design and ongoing build of models that power planning across Finance, GTM, and People. This is a hands-on builder role for someone who has been doing this work at a consulting firm or implementation partner and is ready to go deep with one customer. You’ll partner with FP&A Analysts and Leads, business stakeholders across the company, and engineering and data partners to translate requirements into scalable, governed Pigment applications — and you’ll lead implementations end-to-end, from scoping through production.

You’ll partner with FP&A Analysts and Leads, business stakeholders across the company, and engineering and data partners to translate requirements into scalable, governed Pigment applications — and you’ll lead implementations end-to-end, from scoping through production.
What You’ll Do
- Pigment Ownership: Own Pigment as the FP&A planning platform of record — design, build, maintain, and continuously optimize models across the planning ecosystem.
- End-to-End Implementations: Lead implementations from start to finish — scoping and discovery of data and processes, wireframing, building POCs, demoing to stakeholders, iterating, and shipping the production build with minimal oversight.
- Use Case Coverage: Build and maintain models across workforce planning, OpEx forecasting, 3-statement core reporting, GTM sales capacity, GTM quota planning, GTM ARR and pipeline planning, and revenue forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with FP&A, GTM, and People teams to translate business requirements into clean, scalable model logic — and translate model logic back to non-technical users.
- Data Integrity: Validate model outputs against source systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, data warehouse) and own the reconciliation process so finance leadership can trust the numbers.
- Change Management & Enablement: Onboard new users, write documentation, run training sessions, and act as the go-to resource for Pigment questions across the business.
- AI & Agent Enablement: Help the FP&A team adopt Pigment’s AI and Agent capabilities — identify use cases, prototype, and bring the team along as the tool evolves.
- Continuous Improvement: Evolve the build as the business grows — improve model performance, governance, automation, and integrations on an ongoing basis.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on EPM experience — at least 3 in Pigment (Model Builder certification required) and 2 in Anaplan or a comparable EPM platform (Planful, Adaptive, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar)
- Proven experience running implementations end-to-end — scoping, POC, demo, iteration, and full production build with minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of validating your own work against external systems before sign-off
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable translating between finance stakeholders and technical model logic
- Experience driving user adoption and change management for new tools and processes
- Naturally curious, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Nice to have
- Consulting or implementation partner background (Big 4, boutique EPM consultancy, or a Pigment / Anaplan delivery partner)
- Pigment Solution Architect or Solutions Consultant certification
- Anaplan Level 2 or Level 3 certification
- FP&A or finance domain experience
- Experience with GTM planning use cases at a SaaS company
- Familiarity with adjacent systems: NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Looker / Tablea
