The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Professional with a strong combination of technical payroll expertise and accounting fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll across India, China, or broader APAC regions OR India + EMEA payroll.
- Prepare and process payrolls for employees in the APAC & EMEA. China & India experience is a bonus.
- Ensure the timely delivery of semi-monthly and monthly payroll files.
- Work closely with the People Operations (HR) and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of the payroll data. Including, but not limited to, data related to new hires, terminations, transfers, variable compensation inputs and job information changes.
- Review employee’s expense reports.
- Maintain the updated employee information in our tools (Expensify and Netsuite).
- Carry out communication with Finance and payroll providers, creating and maintaining files as needed.
- Ensure stock based compensation activity is accurately captured in employees pay profiles and related taxes are remitted to tax authorities.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks.
- Support the execution of annual statutory audits pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, as well as regional, internal, and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the timely delivery of audit documentation and responses.
- Support other members of the finance team as needed.
