Job Overview

About the role

We’re hiring a Commercial Ops Associate to drive the execution and operating rhythm of new business sales.

This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded operator who can bring pace, structure, and consistency to a high-touch, research-led sales process.

You’ll keep opportunities moving, tighten pipeline hygiene, coordinate handoffs, optimise for higher conversion, improve meeting and deck readiness, support senior sellers on live deal prioritisation, and streamline the workflows that support new business performance.

What you'll do

  • Keep deals moving with clear next steps, clean stage discipline, and strong follow-through
  • Identify stalled opportunities and drive action to unblock them
  • Optimise the sales and commercial process by identifying root causes for deal losses and lagging oppies and how to fix
  • Coordinate handoffs and inputs across Business Development, Research, Campaigns, Growth, and Content
  • Support senior sellers with day-to-day sales prioritisation, including triaging live oppies and deals, managing follow-up, and helping keep key opportunities moving
  • Own deck templates and quality-control client-facing materials going out
  • Improve meeting prep, briefs, and proposal readiness
  • Partner on automation and process improvements across the deal pipeline
  • Own a small number of lower-priority, non-target-account opportunities — to ensure you understand and can execute the process you’re helping to build and run

Who you are (skills and experience)

  • Experience in sales operations, commercial operations, revenue operations, enablement, or a similar cross-functional commercial role
  • Strong understanding of B2B pipeline management and deal progression
  • Confidence bringing structure and accountability to live opportunities
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination
  • Strong written communication and a high bar for quality
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot
  • Experience improving workflows, templates, reporting, and automation
  • Comfort working behind the scenes to help senior sellers perform at their best

Nice to have

  • Experience in a consultative, outbound, research-led sales environment
  • Experience within market research, consumer insight, management consulting or adjacent services sector
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Clay, Fathom, Notion
  • Some direct selling experience on smaller or lower-priority accounts

Who you are (mindset)

  • You take ownership and hate loose ends
  • You’re proactive and action-oriented
  • You enjoy coordinating people and information to make things run more smoothly
  • You’re commercially curious and want to understand what drives deals forward
  • You’re comfortable learning on the job and growing fast in a startup environment
  • You care about doing things well and making a visible impact on the business

Success in the role

You’ll make our new business sales more organised, better supported, and more effective — with stronger process discipline, higher-quality materials, clearer follow-through, and less time lost to manual work.

Please note this role is required to be in-office 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday)
