This is a role where great communication really matters.

We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Communications Partner to join our team. You’ll help create clarity, connection and confidence across our co-op and work closely with senior leaders and teams, shaping stories, guiding change, managing issues communications, and helping our people understand not just what we’re doing – but why.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications in our People & Capability team, you’ll balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, bringing energy, judgement and heart to your work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic communications partnership and day-to-day communications support across our support centre teams
  • Developing and delivering effective change communication plans to support major initiatives
  • Leading issues and crisis communications
  • Supporting delivery of the Foodies culture programme
  • Enabling an aligned co-op culture through strong channels, storytelling and live event experiences

You’re a confident communications professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys building strong, trusted relationships.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven strategic communications experience within a large, complex organisation
  • The ability to think strategically, challenge the status quo and still get hands-on
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Agility, curiosity and the confidence to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Courage to have constructive conversations that lift capability and outcomes
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for creating impact through communication
